Full description
The ARES M is the base, most widely used size in the rigid drag-stretcher lineup. Its 60 cm width gives enough room to wrap the wounded person in a protective "cocoon" and hold their position while dragging, while the compact 20×60 cm roll fits in a medical vehicle's trunk or stays ready at a position.
The 2 mm sheet PEHD plastic stays flexible and doesn't crack in the cold, holds loads from 250 kg and operates across a −50…+40°C temperature range. An adaptive towing system with steel carabiners lets a team of 1 to 6 people carry out the evacuation — over ground, snow, asphalt, or with vehicle assistance.
