Hypothermia is one of the leading causes of deterioration in a wounded person's condition during a long evacuation or wait for medical care. The ARES Cocoon is made of the same Cordura 900D fabric as the soft tactical stretcher and is designed to retain body heat under field conditions.
The kit includes 2 chemical hand warmers and 1 hypothermia blanket. 8 handles around the perimeter allow the wounded to be carried by a group in the same way as the ARES tactical stretcher. Coyote color.
