The ARES L is the widest model in the lineup, designed for maximum protection of the wounded person during evacuation over difficult terrain. The 90 cm width allows the body to be fully wrapped, arms secured inside the "cocoon," and the head and torso shielded from impacts against uneven ground.
The model holds the same 250+ kg load rating as the S/M sizes, but its larger surface makes it better suited to prolonged dragging or heavier evacuation loads. Rolled weight is 4.5 kg, with a 20×90 cm roll size.
